  • STUART SUTCLIFFE: LOST BEATLE

At art college in Liverpool in 1959, Stuart Sutcliffe met John Lennon and they soon became close -with Lennon persuading Sutcliffe to use the proceeds of a painting he had sold to buy a bass guitar and join his band, along with Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Before long, with drummer Pete Best in the line-up, they won a contract in Hamburg playing sleazy clubs in the seedy Reeperbahn area of the city, amidst the casual sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll of the era. The Beatles Rock Band – Video Game Review

The Beatles Rock Band is a game that was well anticipated by fans of the Beatles and by gamers alike. For anyone who enjoys playing rock band games, this game is a fun experience. Even if you never grew up listening to the Beatles music, you just might become a fan of their music when you hear it like this. An easy game with lots of history built in and fun facts about The Beatles and their band.

This game is not for the intense Rock Band player. It will not have you playing amazing guitar riffs or playing a solo drum piece, but it will give you hours of easy music play mixed in with music played by The Beatles.

For hard core fans of The Beatles, this game will provide a new outlet to enjoy the band and a fun way to explore the music and pay tribute to a well loved group. In the game itself, there are ways to unlock photos of The Beatles and unlock some brief history facts the information actually comes from Sir Paul himself. With an added bonus of released videos of The Beatles, it is a real treat to be rewarded with such fantastic rewards.

With the power to jump right into quick play on or offline, you can quickly enjoy a full track list of songs minus one that is due to be let out soon. The music play is not too hard so you can really enjoy the music and not stress out too much over what you are actually doing.

There is no customization to the characters like most gamers are used to. The Beatles are simply who they are and you cannot change anything about them. The characters change as they go from their early day`s music, to their later days and the changes are true with how the band members actually looked during those periods.

The stages that you get to play on are amazing. You can play in Shea stadium and Budokan during the early days and experience some easy songs from that era. The stages look realistic with screaming teenaged fans and patrolling police officers.

In the `realistic` option the crowd is pumped up so loud that you can barely hear the lyrics over the screams. But most players will not mind because it might make them feel like they are a part of the band in a strange sort of way.

There are variations to songs played repeatedly and all songs follow audio taken from the studio. The song `I am a Walrus` offers a magic mystery tour where the band members are in animal forms and the whole appearance is pretty strange but add to the make-up of the game.

This particular game is different from other Rock Band games because you can play up to three mics at once and anyone can sing vocals instead of one person at a selected time. The guitar and drum play is fairly easy, where more of the focus is the fact that you are playing a song from The Beatles.

Fans of this game will enjoy the music and the game play itself. Harmonix takes us from reality in a studio into a dream world with limitless possibilities. Whether you`re a diehard Beatles fan or trying it out for the first time, you will become a fan after some game play in The Beatles Rock Band.

Why Beatles Fans Should Buy the New Beatles Remastered CDs (Mono

If you’re a Beatles fan who already owns all of their albums on CD I can understand feeling like it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to buy the new remastered Beatles CDs. You maybe thinking “How much difference does it really make?” or “I’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on The Beatles CDs, do I really need to spend more?” Yes, I can understand this feeling, but I completely disagree with it! I bought the Beatles box sets as soon as they became available for pre-order and in this article I hope to explain why all other serious Beatles fans should also buy these CD box sets. John Lennon Sunglasses : Timeless Shades

The round, circular, and often color tinted pair of tea shades, usually referred to as John Lennon Sunglasses, have stayed relevant in the fashion accessory world for a long time. Rocker, John Lennon, wore them frequently in his later days with The Beatles, and throughout his solo career. He was often pictured with them in his later days, walking the streets of New York City, with his wife Yoko Ono wearing a similar pair. There are also many photos of the musical legend sporting the shades that can be found in stores and bought online.

They were always known as tea shades, before John Lennon forever changed the way the piece of fashion apparel would always be referred to. It’s quite amazing, and a testament to his fame and talent, that a fashion item would be re-branded forever with his name. Imagine having a general fashion item named for you just because you wore the item so frequently. There aren’t many other icons I can think of that have achieved similar successes.

There are many other who have worn tea shades, like heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne, or Kate Hudson in the movie “Almost Famous”. The shades are also commonly thought of as a an homage to the “Love Revolution” of the late 1960′s. A sure sign of the times that have survived to this day, about 40 years later. It’s hard not to look at someone who is wearing John Lennon Sunglasses and not think they are enjoying some sort of groovy mood.

They can often commonly be associated with a mind altered type of state the wearer may have self-induced. Tea Shades are very often worn by the stereotypical Hippie or flower child. They go right along with tie-dyes and a bandanna. Sometimes it may be hard to find a good pair of John Lennon Sunglasses. I had a really difficult time the last time I was searching for a pair a few months ago. I usually find good deals on sunglasses at those island shops in the middle of the local mall, but this time they had a very slim selection. I ended up finding a great pair online for a great price.

Michael Danick is an expert on the history and shopping experience of John Lennon sunglasses. You may visit his website which exhibits more information on the topic at http://johnlennon-sunglasses.blogspot.com/
